Real Estate Business Community Marketing

Question: Real Estate Agent?
Hi everyone,
I recently received my real estate license in the state of Texas (last week) and now I’m working for a local company. Well now I’m trying to market myself throughout the community. What are some different localities where I can perhaps display business cards? What other marketing tools could I possibly use besides handing out business cards, pamplets, brochures, along with flyers?
Some of the things I’ve done already are to buy car magnets and business cards, which at the moment I’m waiting to receive them. I have gone to different localities like gas stations, restaurants, and hotels to ask if once I receive my business cards if they would allow me to display them there.
Some of the things that I think are advantageous for me are the fact that I am a female and speak Spanish and English fluently. However I’m 19 years old and I’m afraid that sometimes people are more interested in experienced Realtors rather then young ones. Help! Thank You very much.
Yvette

Real Estate Sales Marketing Business

Question: Help. Can’t Decide. Which one? Business or Pharmacy?
Which one should I pick: business or pharmacy? I’m very passionate about business, but I don’t know what job should I get after I get my Bachelors degree or MBA from it. My parents said I should be a full time student first to study pharmacy and become a pharmacist just to have a “parachute job” in case the economy goes down.
Although I made a lot of research in both regarding which colleges to go to and the classes to take, I don’t know which one I should pick.
I used to be passionate in pharmacy, but then my route changed. I started to have a high interest and a bright passion on business stuff like marketing, sales, accounting, financing, business management, real estate, investing, retailing, and entrepreneurship.
I’m still a sophomore in high school. I just need help on deciding which one I should pick or what plan should be necessary.
Answer: Your parents advice is sound. The best way to handle this is to do BOTH. You can major in pharmacology and minor in business. That way you could go either direction or a combination of both!
Good Luck!

Pay Per Click for Real Estate Web Site Continued
Can any do Pay Per Click for Real Estate Web Site?
Yes. Further, pay per click campaigns are very easy to set up and run. You don’t have to have any technical knowledge to run a pay per click campaign for your real estate web site.
Is Pay Per Click for Real Estate Web Site cost effective?
Some people are very successful at pay per click campaigns while others go broke over pay per click campaigns. You can spend a lot of money for no results if you are not careful with pay per click campaigns. However, if you analyze your results carefully to see how many visitors come to your real estate website vs how much money you spent on pay per click campaigns, you should be able to figure out if your pay per click campaigns for real estate web site is worth while and cost effective. A simple calculation below will suffice in determining if a pay per click campaign for real estate web site is profitable.
If your real estate website made $5,000 in profit (from someone signing up for a mortgage, say) and there were 25,000 hits then each visitor to your real estate web site is worth ($5,000 / 25,000 = ) 20 cents.

This is a basic formula for calculating if the pay per click campaign will be profitable for your real estate web site. It gives you an idea of how much you can bid for a keyword. In this case, if you break even at 20 cents, then you must bid for less than 20 cents or your will make a loss.
How many keywords can I add for a pay per click campaign for real estate web site?
You can add as many keywords as you like. You only pay when someone clicks on your ad. However, if you don’t bid on relevant keywords, then your visitors to your website are not targeted enough to want to buy anything.
